iTouch out, iPhone in.

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

As a 20-day early birthday present, I upgraded from a 2nd-gen iTouch (32gb) to a iPhone 3GS (32gb).

As soon as I picked it up, the thickness difference was immediately noticeable, and welcome. It is a lot easier to grasp than the iTouch.

New iPod Touch, Cool Accessories

Monday, October 19th, 2009

Earlier this week I received a hand-me-down 32gb 2nd-generation iPod Touch from my Dad, which upgraded to an iPhone 3GS. I have all the original packaging and accessories, and pretty much a “starter kit” along with it since most of his accessories don’t work, or were replaced, with his iPhone.

First was the case, a simple Griffin slider case (pictured below), as well as a dock (pictured below). Strange that he’d part with the dock? The Incase case that he got would be too difficult to remove each time he wanted to use it (practically every night). I also received a wall outlet to USB adapter, to allow charging without a computer, a pack of screen protectors (ugh… pain in the ass to put on), and the rest of the extended warranty (about to roll over to one year).

SwitchEasy RebelTouch iPod Touch Case

Very very nice looking iPod Touch case; seems snug, includes a dock adapter to fit it in the case, as well as two screen protectors, a jack for those stubborn-to-fit cables, and more. I’m thinking about getting one to replace this Griffin case of mine.
